Governance
As Xircus Web3 Protocol is a DAO, we encourage cooperation and collaboration from the users, the community and respective parties. Through this, we can strengthen our decision making processes and share an outline of governance proposal to our community on finding the best ways to improve the protocol, the platform and our products.
Protocol is a system of rules that explain the correct conduct and procedures to be followed in formal situations
Platform is a framework of software that is intended and designed to work together. Usually a group of technologies that are used as a base upon which other applications, processes or technologies are developed
Product is the item offered for sale. A product can be a service or an item. It can be physical or in virtual or cyber form
Proposal Types
Votable Proposals - these proposals are designed to use accumulated voting power from DAO ownership to implement or drop the proposal referring to the protocol, the platform and the products. For example, changing the minimum listing fee required when setting up a dApp (platform) or changing the percentage of allocation to Xircus Web3 Protocol liquidity from the XircusPunks (product) or add a new blockchain support (protocol)
Payable Proposals - these proposals are designed by sending a certain amount of configured token to implement or drop the proposal referring to the protocol, the platform and the products.
Locker Vault
As part of governance and ensuring that we are building Xircus for long term and that we are committed with our vision to grow and bring Xircus to mainstream users, we have created a token economy for the Xircus Web3 Protocol XW3 native token regarding the distribution schedule on when and to where the tokens will be sent to. We created locker vaults where tokens will be locked for a certain period of time until certain milestone or conditions are met to be released. Release of the tokens can be done by DAO or non-DAO members. DAO members will receive some rewards for unlocking the tokens.
The DAO Rankings
At Xircus Web3 Protocol, we prioritize our DAO members and give them a sense of bragging rights by being part of it. It will give them an extra boost over others within the ecosystem in terms of access, capabilities and opportunities. We want them to move up the ladder and bring significant contribution for the growth and success of the protocol. The rank mechanism is simple, it works based on the total number of accumulated voting power from their XircusPunks holdings. Each batch of the XircusPunks is configured with certain number of voting power.
The DAO Lounge
At Xircus Web3 Protocol, we are setting up XircusHubs from different countries around the world where we can incubate and grow ringmasters, helping them to onboard by migrating their web2 apps to web3 dApps. As DAO, we welcome virtual and physical meetups to promote or pitch their app within the circle as well as raise additional fund for their project. We will also create meetup videos, ringmaster interviews and success strategies shared by notable people or influencer within the Xircus Web3 Protocol community
