Custom Domains

Users can use custom domains for their deployed decentralized apps

Deployed dApps through the Xircus Deployer will have a dashboard where owners can configure and use their custom domain to mask or hide the current provisional domain.

The custom domain must be fully owned and managed by the owner as they need to pass the right configuration on their DNS provider to point the domain to the template cloud provider ip addresses.

Once custom domain is configured, the owner have to wait for couple of minutes before the changes takes effect on the cloud provider and DNS provider.

It is recommended to use a cloud firewall such as CloudFlare for managing the domains as it adds an extra level of security, DDOS attack mitigation, request location tracking and browser agent identification. It is also required to set it on end-to-end full encryption, meaning that both servers are configured with SSL to prevent malicious middle man attack.
